 Aero Med Express is available
for emergency and non-emergency transports 24 hours
each day. From the initial telephone contact, all
arrangements will be provided by our Aero Med Express
staff.

| Aero Med Express,
established in 1978, is a complete bedside to bedside air-ambulance
operation, serving hospitals, individuals and corporations
nationwide. We proudly transport patients with safety,
stability, and speed. Aero Med Express complies with all
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) guidelines as well as the Federal
Aviation Regulations. We are an active member in the Association
of Aero Medical Services (AAMS). |
| Upon receiving an air-ambulance
request, our medical coordinator will contact the
physician or health care facility and access the current condition
and potential complications of the patient, receive any in-flight
orders , and make arrangements for proper equipment and
personnel. Our flight department will simultaneously
proceed to prepare the aircraft, file flight plans and
make an assessment of weather conditions. At this time
all ground arrangements will also be |
made and the estimated time of arrival
will be provided to the referring facility. During
transport, our flight team will evaluate and re-evaluate
the condition of the patient and provide for comfort needs
as well as stabilization support as required based on
ACLS standards. Aircraft communications capabilities to
Emergency Room or referring and receiving physicians are
available within a moments notice for updated reports and
medical advice.
